Elected as President of ISEA

On 9th January 2014, Ursula was elected as President of the Ireland Spain Economic Association (ISEA).

ISEA is a bilateral organisation, established in 1989. The object of the Association is to promote excellent bilateral business relations between Ireland and Spain. To achieve this, ISEA has developed, over the years, a network of business contacts, providing reciprocal opportunities to enhance mutually rewarding relationships.

The Association established a counterpart association in Madrid under the patronage of Ireland’s Ambassador to Spain.

Guest appearance on TV 3 Vincent Browne

On 14th November 2013, Ursula appeared as a guest on the Vincent Browne Show. The topic of the show was “Ending the bail-out”. Ursula and the other guests, Pearse Doherty, Kieran O’Donnell and Michelle Murphy discussed the government’s decision to exit the European Union-International Monetary Fund bailout without a precautionary credit line.
